Masks

Cream, sheet and peel-off masks manufactured by Celcode in Singapore for hydration, brightening, clarifying and soothing, with formulation and packaging notes.

Celcode manufactures face masks in cream, sheet and peel-off formats as custom or ready formulations - hydrating, brightening, clarifying and soothing masks for retail ranges and professional treatments. Masks are among the more popular products requested by clients and are formulated for a short, intensive contact time, with the base and packaging chosen for the format: rinse-off cream masks, leave-on overnight masks, serum-soaked sheet masks and film-forming peel-off masks.

Formulation considerations

  • Contact time. Masks deliver actives over a short, intensive period, so active levels and feel are set for that use, not for all-day wear.
  • Format-specific stability. Clay masks must not dry out or crack in the pack; sheet-mask serums must stay clear and load evenly; peel-off films must form and release cleanly.
  • Preservation and packaging. Single-use sachets reduce preservation demands; jars and tubes for multi-use masks need robust preservation. See packaging and branding.
  • Sensitive skin. Fragrance-free and low-irritant versions for post-procedure and sensitive-skin ranges.

Testing and compliance

Masks are stability-tested in their packaging, controlled for microbial quality under the GMP quality system, and notified to the HSA before sale in Singapore (regulatory support).

How to brief a mask

State the format (cream, sheet, peel-off, sleeping), the concern, retail or professional use, and the packaging. Choose “Mask” in the product brief.

Frequently asked questions

Does Celcode manufacture sheet masks?

Sheet masks combine a serum-type formulation with a sheet material and sachet packaging. Celcode develops and manufactures the formulation; the sheet material, folding and sachet filling are planned with the packaging in the project scope. Tell us in the brief whether you have a sheet supplier.

Can a mask be used in professional treatments and sold at retail?

Yes. Many brands pair a professional-strength mask used in facials with a retail version for home use. Both are formulated in the same project so they work together.

How long is a mask left on?

Contact time is set by the format and the actives - typically 10 to 20 minutes for cream and sheet masks, until dry for peel-off masks, and overnight for sleeping masks. Directions are set during formulation and confirmed at the regulatory check.
